Two minors have been injured amongst 4 individuals after Indian troops fired mortar shells throughout the Line of Management (LoC) in Nakyal sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, media studies stated on Sunday.
Mortar shelling began on Sunday morning and focused the civilian inhabitants of the villages alongside the working boundary.
Nakyal Assistant Commissioner Waleed Anwar informed media, “Indian troops started heavy mortar shelling at about 7am in the morning.”
He added that it focused the civilians dwelling in villages alongside the LoC.
Aleeba Majeed, 11, and Samra, 15, have been the 2 minor victims amongst 4 injured. Musarrat, 22, and Muhammad Zahoor Mughal, 35, have been additionally injured in shelling carried out by the Indian forces.
The injured belong to Palani, Jair Merg and Dharoti Naari villages.
Three individuals have been shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Kotli as they acquired acquired important accidents.
Anwar stated that the shelling continued for an extended interval.
